Colour Copy Shop website preview: privacy information

This notice covers the testing website at ccs-preview.quicklaunchdigital.co.za. It describes the website features being prepared and their current limits. The shop and cart can be browsed; order submission, payments, courier booking and website email delivery are currently disabled.

Customer accounts and Google sign-in

When you use an existing website account, the site uses your account details and a sign-in cookie to identify your session. If you choose Google sign-in once it is enabled, Google authenticates you and supplies your Google account identifier, verified email address and basic profile information, such as your name and profile picture. The site’s sign-in software uses authentication tokens to complete that connection. The shop does not receive your Google password. Signing in as a customer does not grant access to the staff workspace or WordPress administration.

Existing accounts are not connected to Google just because their email addresses match. Sign in to the existing customer account first, then choose to connect it in Account details. Email-based password recovery is unavailable while website email delivery is disabled; contact the shop if you need help accessing an account.

Artwork studio

Pictures selected for the local editing tool stay in your browser. The tool does not upload them to the shop or attach them to an order. Save your PNG before closing or resetting the editor; the working design is not saved as an online project.

The optional AI generation feature is initially restricted to authorised shop accounts. After you agree, it sends the selected catalogue product, confirmed print size and fixed style/colour choices to OpenAI in a controlled artwork request. It does not accept custom descriptions or send your selected source picture. Requests use a paid allowance. Generated artwork must be checked before printing. See OpenAI’s API data information for its handling of API requests.

The separate product illustration reuses the artwork in your browser. It makes no second AI request. It is for illustrative purposes only: actual colours, materials, finish and placement may vary. The shop must approve final artwork before production.

Cookies and security records

WordPress sign-in and the WooCommerce cart use cookies to maintain your session and cart. Server security records may include an IP address, request time and requested page. Staff access and customer records are protected by account permissions.
